We offer two types of garage door insulation; Gara-Flex & Autex Greenstuf. Our Gara-Flex is a rubber insulation (black) that caters to a wide range of garage doors. The Autex Greenstuf is a semi rigid polyester insulation that is available in three colours (white, black & grey). Both products are great for both thermal & acoustic purposes and are especially designed to fit the spaces in your garage door to dramatically improve the warmth of your garage. Prices range from $299.00* for a single garage sectional door in white & $549.00 for a double garage sectional door in white.
We prefer to use either our rubber or polyester products over a polystyrene product for one main reason. Polyester & rubber are both semi rigid yet malleable which means all areas of the door can be completely insulated by tucking the product right in behind the metal uprights on the door. Polystyrene is a totally rigid board which cannot be bent or moved; therefore it leaves gaps in behind the uprights on the door cavity.
Because of the malleability of both rubber & polyester, they are much more effective than rigid polystyrene. With our products we can create a complete seal over the whole surface area of the door.
