When it comes to finishing off your garage carpet installation, choosing the right edging matters just as much as the carpet itself. We offer two edging options; PVC and aluminium,  each has its own benefits depending on how you plan to use your garage.

PVC Edging

Our PVC edging abuts directly to the raw carpet edge and is glued down onto the concrete surface. It's a clean, straightforward finish that works well for most garage spaces, particularly on newly laid, smooth concrete. In these conditions, PVC edging holds in place well and is designed to withstand regular vehicle use.

Aluminium Edging

Aluminium edging takes a slightly different approach; it is drilled and screwed directly into the concrete, overlapping the raw carpet edge. This creates a more secure, industrial grade finish. Because of its strength and durability, aluminium edging is included in our five year warranty.

Which One Should You Choose?

If you're using your garage for general storage or occasional parking, PVC edging is a popular choice. However, if you're planning to use your garage as a regular parking space (driving in and out several times a day) we recommend our aluminium edging.

Still Not Sure Which Option Suits Your Space?

No worries! Our installers carry both options in their vans so you can choose on the day. They are the perfect people to help you to decide which option will be best for your garage based on your needs and garage surface.
